Jason Davis

Professor Jason J. Davis's research at Oxford centers on functional molecular interfaces, especially in relation to diagnostics, sensing, molecular switches, and imaging. His group engineers supramolecular films, responsive nanoparticles, and electrochemical interfaces to transduce molecular recognition events into measurable signals. They explore electron transfer mechanisms at molecular films, design MRI contrast agents and cargo-delivery systems, and develop strategies for highly sensitive biomarker detection (e.g. C-reactive protein, insulin) in complex biological samples.
