Jin-Chong Tan

Professor of Engineering Science

I lead the Multifunctional Materials & Composites (MMC) Lab, where we develop nanoporous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), thin films and nanocomposite membranes targeting a range of multifunctional and structural applications. Recent research interests include nanoengineering of new luminescent materials and tuneable host-guest nanocomposites for deployment in photonics-based sensing technologies.
